Certificate in Christian Studies:<\/strong> The information and application forms for the new Certificate in Christian Studies, which is being run by the Diocese with the support of St. Patrick\u2019s College, Maynooth, are now available in the churches.\u00a0 Spaces are limited on this course, so book promptly.<\/p>\n

Have the Christian churches fallen behind in their understanding of family or can theologies of family offer new perspectives in a changing landscape? A talk and discussion\u00a0about where\u00a0Christian understanding meets modern family life.\u00a0\u00a0Dr Daniel O’Connell lectures in education and spirituality at Mary Immaculate College Limerick and is married and dad to two children. Douglas Churches Together<\/strong>:\u00a0 A meeting for volunteers willing to help in Holy Week will be held on Thursday 8th<\/sup> March at 7.30pm, venue TBC.<\/p>\n

Anam Cara<\/strong>, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding its next monthly Parent Evening on Wednesday 7thof March from\u00a019:30 to 21:00\u00a0in the Clayton Hotel, Silver Springs, Tivoli, Cork. This event is open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether the death was recent or not.<\/p>\n
