Adult Education Evening Classes in Ashton School, Blackrock<\/strong>.\u00a0 Enrolment now being taken at office or on-line @www.ashton.ie.\u00a0\u00a0 Enrolment night will take place in the school on Wednesday 17th<\/sup> September between 7-8pm.<\/p>\n

Harvest Thanksgivings<\/strong>: On Sunday 21St<\/sup> September Mr Keith Roberts will be our guest preacher in Frankfield and Douglas.\u00a0 Rev. Elaine Murray will be the guest preacher at our annual ecumenical harvest Thanksgiving Service in St. Mary\u2019s Church in Passage West. The service is at 7pm. \u00a0No morning service in Passage.<\/p>\n

Old School Lunch<\/strong>: The monthly \u2018last Wednesday lunches\u2019 resume in Blackrock on Wednesday 24th<\/sup> September at 12.30. We hope that many people will gather for good food and conversation and take the opportunity to catch up with each other after the summer holidays. All are welcome.<\/p>\n

Bible Study<\/strong> will take place in the home of Joan Miller, Ballintemple on Wednesday, 24th<\/sup> September at 3.00pm and in the home of Carol Boylan, Moneygourney on Thursday, 25th<\/sup> September at 7.30pm.<\/p>\n

Douglas and St FinBarre’s Scout Group<\/strong> are seeking new adolescents to join the Scout (12-15 yrs) or Venture Scout (15-17 yrs) sections. Both girls and boys are most welcome. We have weekly meetings and regular outdoor activities where young people can develop key teamwork and leadership skills.Further information can be found at www.douglasscouts.ie<\/a><\/p>\n

The recent \u00a0fundraiser Cake Sale and Raffle <\/strong>in Frankfield raised an amount of \u20ac1590. This is a great figure and a credit to all who put in a very big effort to make it such a success.<\/p>\n
