Education

The parish has two national schools under the patronage of the Church of Ireland Bishop of Cork, Cloyne and Ross. They are administered by two separate boards of management. The parish clergy visit both schools weekly to conduct school assemblies and occasionally visit classes. The end of term services as well as school carol services take place in both St. Luke’s and St. Michael’s Churches and involve the pupils.
