People are interested in genealogy and family history now more than ever before. The internet has opened up all sorts of possibilities which allow us to find information about our ancestors.

In this parish a number of the registers of baptisms, marriages and burials are in our custody. However some of the early ones have been transferred to the Representative Church Body in Dublin, where they are kept in secure and temperature controlled conditions, along with many other church archives. If you have a query in relation to your family history, please contact the Rector in the first instance and he will do his best to source the information for you. Be patient, we don’t have a dedicated parish archivist, but we do take our responsibility as custodians of important historical information seriously and we will do our best to help you in a timely manner. The more information you supply us, the easier and therefore quicker the search will be.
