On Saturday, 17th December, a special Christmas concert will be held in St. Luke’s Church at 8pm.  Tickets are €15 available at the door.  All proceeds will go to Medecins Sans Frontieres, a charity which is doing such vital work in Syria and in the Middle East at present.

 

On Sunday, 18th December Frankfield Carol Service takes place in Holy Trinity Church at 10am and Blackrock’s Carols by Candlelight will be held in St. Michael’s Church Blackrock at 7pm. No 11.30 service in Blackrock next Sunday.

 

Church Cleaning in St. Luke’s Church:  For December volunteers are needed to clean St. Luke’s Church.  Please fill in your name on the clipboard at the back of the church if you can help.

 

We congratulate Douglas Community Association in winning the ‘All Ireland Pride of Place’ competition in the over 5000 categories.  Bill Perrott (a committee member) was present when the award was presented at a Gala Dinner in Belfast recently.
