Cork Theology Forum will hold an event on the 16th May in Northridge House, St. Luke’s Education Centre, Mahon at 7.30pm.  The theme will be Theological Potluck 2018. Bring something (an object, a piece of music, a poem etc.) that expresses an understanding of family emerging from experience. Group discussion.

Further to discussion with a number of people following the success of the two plays in Douglas last November, we are now planning a play reading on Friday 18th May in the Parish Hall (next to St Marys, Carrigaline) at 8.30PM.  The play we are planning to read is ‘Same old Moon’ by Geraldine Aron. This reading is not an audition but a social night planned to strengthen the bonds between the two parishes in preparation for a joint dramatic society.  There will be refreshments available on the night.  This invitation is open to all and there is no obligation to take part in reading the play if you would prefer to sit back, listen and enjoy!

If you wish to attend could you send me a short email to either Mary Murphy at  murphyfmary@gmail.com or Rev’d David Bowles asdgd_bowles@yahoo.co.uk

Charting a Future with Confidence: This important report on the life of our Diocese is circulating. Please borrow a copy from the church and return asap for others to read. There will be a meeting especially for people not previously involved in the discussions on Monday 28th May, 7.30-9pm in Northridge House, Mahon, Cork for our parish together with St Fin Barre’s St Anne’s and Carrigrohane Union.
