CMS visit to parish: On Sunday 27 January we look forward to having the Revd Roger Thompson from CMS at our services in Passage and Douglas. Currently we are supporting Revd Dr Keith and Lynn Scott who are working the Theological Education at St John’s Seminary, Kitwe in Zambia. No doubt the preacher will inform us as to how we can pray for Keith and Lynn and take a continued interest in their work in that part of Africa.
Bible Study will take place in the home of Joan Miller, Ballintemple on Wednesday, 30th January and in the home of Carol Boylan, Moneygourney on Thursday, 31st January at 7,30pm
Lunch will be held in the Old Schoolhouse, Blackrock on Wednesday, 30th January at 12.30pm.
The Cork Indigent Roomkeepers Society. I have collected for the Society for a number of years. I would like to thank the parishioners who have contributed so generously. The sum collected for 2018 was €1436. I appreciate the courtesy shown to me. Michele de Foubert has taken over as a collector for the Society. Nancy Stanley.
