‘Bandon Grammar School – A History’ to be launched by Mr. Graham Norton at the school on Monday 25th November at 3pm. Admission to the launch is by ticket only as space is limited. There is no charge for tickets. Copies of the book may also be ordered by contacting the school office at 023/8841713 or email office@bgsmail.ie. The RRP is €30.
St. Luke’s School Christmas Fair will take place on Sunday, 1st December at 12.15pm in the Canon Packham Hall.
Hymn Singing will be held on Tuesday 3rd December in the home of Florence Binions at 7.30pm.
Bible Study will take place on Wednesday, 4th December in the home of Joan Miller, Ballintemple at 3pm and on Thursday, 5th December in the home of Carol Boylan, Moneygourney at 7.30pm.
And when all the mistletoe is gone, it’s definitely gone!
Produce is needed for the Christmas Market on Saturday 7 December. Saleable plants (e.g. poinsettias, cyclamen, hyacinth etc.) are particularly welcome but surplus chocs, cakes, scented candles, table decorations, panettone, craft items associated with the festive season will all be gratefully received and put on sale. Contributions/donations should please be delivered to the Canon Packham Hall 6 – 8 pm Friday 6 December.
