Today a new baptismal banner is being dedicated in St. Luke’s Church and it will hang in the baptistery there. It has many interesting features, including a small selection of the Christian names of the many thousands of people who were baptised in the church, beginning with Sarah who was baptised on 28 July 1789. She is the first entry in the baptism register.

We are very grateful to Stephanie Giltinan who has made this beautiful banner.
