Anam Cara, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding its next monthly Parent Evening on Wednesday 1st of November from 19:30 to 21:00 in the Clayton Hotel, Silver Springs, Tivoli, Cork. This event is open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether the death was recent or not.

Service and Sausages will be held on Sunday, 5th November at 6pm in St. Luke’s Church Douglas.       

Combined Douglas Union of Parishes with Frankfield and Carrigaline Union of Parishes Fundraiser, An Evening of Supper Theatre, A Fishy Business and Gosforth’s Fete Canon Packham Hall 9th, 10th and 11th November at 7.30pm. Tickets €20 (including dinner) are now on sale in each church.  Please see notice at the back of the church for details on how tickets can be purchased.

“A Night full of Promise”.  Carols from St Fin Barre’s Cathedral Choir” will be held in       St. Fin Barr’s Cathedral on Saturday November 25th at 7pm.The Cathedral Choir have chosen to raise funds for the Cork Simon Community, a very deserving charity who support homeless men and women in Cork City and now more than ever, they could do with extra financial support. St Fin Barre’s Cathedral Choir are delighted to invite you to the launch of their new CD ‘A Night Full Of Promise, Carols from St Fin Barre’s Cathedral’.
