In Blackrock, the school community gathers in St. Michael’s Church on, Sunday, 16th December, when they will be involved in the morning service. They are due to perform a special nativity play. Refreshments will be served in the Old Schoolhouse after the service.
On Wednesday, 19th December there will be a Fellowship Night for both Bible Study groups at 7.30pm in the home of Carol Boylan, Moneygourney.
A Ceremony of Carols and other seasonal music performed by St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral Choir will take place on Saturday, 15th December at 7pm in St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral. Admission €10. Tickets available in the Cathedral Shop or at the door.
Bishops’ Appeal Calendars are on sale in the church for €10. If you would like to buy one, please insert the fee in the purple Bishops’ Appeal envelope and place on the plate.
