Dear parishioners and friends

I hope you have had a good week and enjoyed some of the fine weather between the sudden heavy showers. No doubt the gardens and fields we showed last week are benefiting from the rain.

This week’s service is attached and the link is here to the full recorded service.

A reminder to all under 18 artists. I need your pictures of our churches by next Wednesday for inclusion in our service for next Sunday 31st May (Pentecost). Thanks to those who have already sent them in. Please get drawing or painting. Put your first name and age on the front of the picture.

I am also trying to gather photographs of events (weddings/ baptisms/ carol services/ harvests etc) that took place over the years in Holy Trinity Church Frankfield. Maybe you can search them out – take photos of them and email me or WhatsApp me one or two images. This is for Sunday 7 June (Trinity Sunday) when I hope to feature them in the service which I will record in the church.

Having watched the Late Late Show last night I am again reminded of St Vincent de Paul and other charities and the good work they are doing at this time. This pandemic has affected us all and some of us may need a little help to get through the next few months. I have some discretionary funds and am very happy to respond confidentially to any request no matter how small. Just lift the phone or email me.

Wishing you a very happy week and looking forward to celebrating Pentecost next Sunday. It is one of the great festivals of the church calendar.

Every blessing
Adrian.
